P Score is a new system for measuring how persuasive a company is — across its messaging, marketing, and go-to-market content.

We believe the companies that win are the ones that persuade best. But most don’t know how persuasive they actually are. That’s what P Score sets out to solve.

Why now?

Attention is expensive. Trust is fragile. Teams are overwhelmed. And AI is already rewriting the rules for how ideas spread. We’re entering the decade of measured persuasion.

The companies that flourish won’t be the loudest. They’ll be the clearest. The best aligned. The most believable.

That means they’ll be the ones with messages that land, language that converts, and strategy that actually shows up in the work.

But how can you tell if you’re heading in the right direction? P Score is a system designed specifically to measure your persuasion. It gives you a benchmark not just as a snapshot, but as a peer comparison, an analytical tool and so much more. It’s the difference between what’s just efficient and knowing what’s actually effective.

The model

P Score evaluates messaging across the full buyer journey from homepage to hero slide, blog post to pitch deck, scoring each artefact on 16 rhetorical dimensions.

These dimensions are drawn from classical rhetoric and modern behavioural theory — including Aristotle’s Ethos / Pathos / Logos, the principle of Kairos (timing and contextual relevance), and insights from Toulmin argumentation, Kahneman’s dual-system thinking, and cognitive fluency research.

Each dimension is scored out of 10, for a total of 160 points per stage (Awareness and Consideration). And these stages are wrapped into reports with varying levels of depth.

There’s a natural extension from the reports to sales and service encounters as well as sector benchmarks, while an optional Machine Persuasion Index layer evaluates how well content performs in AI search and summarisation environments. And then of course there’s the consultation…

How it works

  1. We extract the real content prospects see — homepage, blog, deck, video, report.

  2. Each artefact is analysed across the 16 dimensions using a structured rubric.

  3. Scores are plotted and benchmarked against peer sets for comparison.

  4. Recommendations are generated to improve clarity, differentiation, and persuasion.

Outputs include quadrant plots, spider charts, diagnostics, and a “narrative integrity” overlay that reveals where a brand’s story holds — and where it drifts.

Market opportunity

P Score sits at the intersection of:

  • B2B GTM and Messaging: $20B+ annual spend across content, sales enablement, and positioning

  • Agency and Portfolio Scoring: Persuasion diagnostics for brand, consulting, and investor advisory work

  • AI-Aware Search and Evaluation: Growing demand for LLM-optimized language and machine comprehension

As AI transforms how companies present themselves — and how others assess them — we believe a new class of metrics will be needed. P Score is built for that gap.

Current status

  • MVP tested across cybersecurity, finance, and SaaS firms

  • In use by brand strategists, consultants, and early-stage VCs

  • Methodology and scoring rubric finalized

  • Next milestone: light product demo built in n8n for validation and automation

We’re building toward a system that supports the current white-glove mode with multiple entry points:

  • Self-service report generator

  • Agency and consultant partnerships

  • White-labeled portfolio analysis for investors

  • Deeper diagnostic layers (P+)

Market Positioning

  • Category-defining: No other company is scoring persuasion across formats and roles with this level of structure and rigour

  • Execution-ready: Already in use by founders, GTM leaders, and strategic agencies

  • Benchmarkable: Designed for comparison over time, across sectors, and against peers

  • M&A-aligned: Seamlessly fits into analyst/advisory workflows (quadrants, waves, portfolio reports)

Strategic fit for firms like:

  • Gartner: Add a persuasion scoring layer to MQ/Wave methodology

  • Forrester: Extend TEI models into buyer perception and message fit

  • CB Insights / PitchBook: Score narrative quality pre- and post-funding

  • WPP / Omnicom / Interpublic: Modularise persuasive intelligence for agency accounts

Team

P Score is founded by Jack Dyson, former Global Head of Content Strategy at SAP CX and Head of Portfolio Narrative at Pure Storage. Employee #1 on WIRED magazine in the UK when it relaunched, Jack has led award-winning storytelling, GTM alignment, and executive messaging work for the likes of Pernod Ricard, Mercedes Benz, and Paychex.

He’s supported by a network of AI researchers, brand strategists, and advisors across tech, finance, and communications.
